Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA
SAP S/4HANA is used by all departments in the company - Sales, Procurement, Planning, Fulfilment, A/R and A/P. As an ERP, SAP S/4HANA provides a lot of benefits. The processes are integrated as the data flows across the different elements of the Supply Chain and Finance withing the organization.
- SAP S/4 HANA provides faster reporting than previous versions like SAP ECC.
- SAP S/4 HANA introduces new ways of doing things across the organization.
- SAP S/4 HANA has powerful out of the box Fiori dashboard reports.
- SAP S/4HANA documentation needs improvements - the configuration examples are hard to search.
- SAP S/4HANA Security setup needs more documentation.
- SAP S/4HANA Fiori Apps are good for dashboards. But, for transactions, there needs a better design approach for users who deal with lot of tcodes.
- SAP S/4 HANA has rich features and the product allows expansion.
- ROI depends on the company size, number of transactions, Cloud and On premise models. The benefits are there but they come with a cost.
SAP S/4HANA has a lot of competitors in small, mid and large scale companies. But, it does stand out due to excellent features like Change Management, Flexibility to add new modules and an excellent reputation in ERP space.
