Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

We use SAP S/4HANA Cloud throughout the entire organization. It can be said that SAP S/4HANA Cloud is the essence of the organization. All relevant business areas are covered by it. It is a highly integrative system. I think that without a companywide ERP system, no large company can work these days.
  • Integration
  • Performance
  • Usability
  • Complexity
  • Costs
  • UI development
  • It has increased our complexity
  • As a result, costs have also risen
  • But we can run our business worldwide without any problems
The entry is difficult. You need at least three years of experience to be able to navigate the system and solve problems independently. I think the first year is the hardest. You ask yourself a lot of questions and it is really very complex. Only after about 10 years of intensive experience can you say that you have really gained an overview and vision. You are then able to plan your own systems to support users and management and to make systems a success.
Oracle Analytics Cloud is just one example. It competes against SAP Analytics Cloud. I think you have to choose a partner. If you choose this one partner, you have to use their products throughout. If I were introducing software in Europe, I would choose SAP S/4HANA Cloud. If I were to introduce software in the U.S., for example, Oracle would be an alternative. There will be more Oracle consultants available in the U.S. So the implementation will be cheaper and faster.

SOTI MobiControl, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Microsoft Intune + SCCM), Eclipse
I think that it depends very much on the size of the company and therefore also on the available budget. Above a certain size, there are very few alternatives on the market. In Europe, SAP is the market leader. At most, there are only competitors from the U.S. and Asian markets. Relevant scenarios: everything in the area of finance, enterprise resource planning, warehousing, and business warehouse. In principle, it can cover all company-relevant points. I would only advise against this if the company is too small or cannot afford it.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Support

The support is different. If you encounter bugs or missing features in old code lines, the support is really very bad. The old code lines--although they are still frequently used--are no longer supported. Overall, the whole system is very hodgepodge and it is hard to replace old modules. SAP S/4HANA Cloud has launched many new innovations. It is definitely a step in the right direction. However, the customers have to keep up and build up their own know-how. SAP S/4HANA Cloud must now enter a phase of consolidation to ensure that support continues to run smoothly.
