Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

ERP for accounting, sales, production, warehouse. Runs the business processes and tied to financial documents

Pros

  • Availability: uptime is very good
  • Security: Needed patches are called out and easy to schedule to be applied
  • Functions: Depend on business need, but core processes applicable for the most part
  • Connectivity: allows connections to other systems

Cons

  • costing structure: not easy to identify what is needed and cost.
  • support: too many ticket options, not enough individual care for request
  • visibility into inventory, better production mamagement
  • financial reporting: better decisions on future investments or products
UI ok, FIORI not easy to implement w/o projects. Different components of SAP S/4HANA Cloud not easy to understand or mansge
  • Scalability
  • Integration with Other Systems
Support beyond ECC was needed and this was one option
No bake-off, always knew it was SAP S/4HANA Cloud

good for production/manufacturing. Not too good for agile or companies with a lot of M&A
