Robust and solid ATS with a bad User Experience
Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors
We use SAP SuccessFactors as the Applicant Tracking System for all internal and external recruiting processes. The system is solid, and we don't usually have problems with unconformities. It also has good integrations with Outlook, for instance. But it's definitely not user-friendly. The main problem is that it requires many clicks to perform a simple task as moving a candidate through the position stages, which is a very common task in Talent Acquisition, so the processes feel long and bureaucratic.

- Customizable - until a certain extent and you need a system admin to do so
Cons
- User interface
- User interaction - reduce the number of clicks required to perform simple actions in the system
- More customization of steps, templates and status
- Provide training for the users so we can better explore the system's functionalities
- Innovate on recruiting related topics, like candidate experience and AI
- We are successfully able to track applicants and perform the recruitment cycle, internal and externally
- The system is always available for applicants or for the recruiting team
- I don't see any other advantages of the system besides it fulfills it's basic roles
Indeed SAP SuccessFactors has good compliance tools, such as activity tracking, which makes it easier for a big team always to be sure of the activities that are taken within the system. As a user and not administrator, this is all that I have had contact with, and I don't know about the impacts on the business, but being in a multinational NASDAQ-listed company, I am sure this was one of the reasons that the system was chosen.
