Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors

In Gentera and its companies, we are evolving our Performance Management Solution to a more continuous way with more feedback on Success Factors. Now the collaborator can combine the activities that they are doing in order to complete an objective and contribute to development objectives as well. By going thru this new process, they can have more frequent reviews with their managers, and discuss at the same time if the objective is contributing to their development or if they need to develop a certain area or skill in order to better complete the objective. As CHRO we are continuously looking for ways to better tie development with performance and this has proven to be a very solid way.

Pros

  • Capable of managing thousands of employees.
  • Availability on desktop and mobile.
  • Ease of use.

Cons

  • The implementation of new modules such as Recruiting Marketing is not that easy to implement.
  • I would love for HR employees to be able to make more changes in Success Factors and not depend on IT.
  • Thanks to Success Factors, we at Gentera have a disciplined way of evaluating performance.
  • Employees are able to consult their objectives and update their achievements on their mobiles.
  • We can now use the continuous performance module for agile projects.
We bought Qualtrix, and it is taking more than 8 months to integrate it.
The best experience I have had was brought by the SAP customer success team, as they help us connect with other clients which have good practices in place. It's great to exchange with other customers.

By using Success Factors, Gentera has developed a solid platform to develop our Talent Processes, Compensation, succession, and learning management system. We recently bought a new company, and integrating them into Success Factors was a great way to accelerate the integration of new talent processes; we can now show the organization charts of the new company and have them into the same Performance Management Cycle and other processes. On the compensation cycle, we are always tying the merit increase to the performance evaluation, and that gives us a lot of credibilities.
