Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors

My organization uses SAP SuccessFactors employee time sheets to record work hours, absences and all other issues related to work time, to record employee goals and to track employee progress. It is also used for Pay records and to record bonuses and potential increases to employee pay. The employees can also use it to keep track of their team member's time off to plan better and have backups if needed.
  • Goals recording and Tracking
  • Time sheets records
  • Pay history records
  • Position change record for all staff
  • The goals section can be simplified a bit. it is a bit confusing when setting new goals when you have history of goals. It is easy to make a mistake and edit the old goal while thinking that you are creating a new one.
  • For the employee time off section, the visual is a bit hard to understand. It might help to have little notes explaining that it can be viewed daily, weekly or monthly.
  • The pay section under employee general info should have the hide option. It should automatically hide upon login to avoid that info being shown to someone looking at the screen of the employee with their account open.
  • It has improved employee record keeping
  • It keeps a track of employment history
  • It keeps pay history record
Based on the few apps that I have seen it integrated with.
It was a long process at first and took some time to get used to. However, upon launch, it was easy to learn to use and navigate.

Do you think SAP SuccessFactors delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with SAP SuccessFactors's feature set?

Yes

Did SAP SuccessFactors live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of SAP SuccessFactors go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy SAP SuccessFactors again?

Yes

For well suited, I will say record keeping on the employee hours worked, employee's work history in the sense of their starting level in the organization, how long they have worked there and how much they have progressed within that time. The ability to view the pay easily as well as bonuses is also good.
For less appropriate scenarios, there are not really any that I can think of right now.
