Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors HCM

Extensive use of the SuccessFactors HCM suite, utilizing compensation, performance, learning, employee central, and time applications. Helps to have a single place where employees can go to achieve anything employee related.

Pros

  • People profile is easy to navigate and has a great UI. All of the information that you need is easily found
  • Time management is very customisable and booking/approving leave requests is simple and easy to manage. The new timesheet approval centre is also great for managers with many direct reports
  • Visibility of the organisation position structure through the position management structure is great, and enables managers and HR teams to better understand their business

Cons

  • The timesheet approval centre is designed for managers, but the actions dots provide access to administrator tools which they don't ever have permissions to access - a strange user experience for managers
UI is easy to navigate and understand for users and admins
Yes, I think the learning space will be great for UI applications

Less appropriate for small business applications as the upfront set up requirements are large and cost benefit might not be worth it. Great for helping large scale businesses with better understanding their business structures, organisations and people.
New story reporting capabilities make this well suited for ELT reporting requirements, with storys and dashboards giving a great view of quick and digestible data
