Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors HCM

We currently use SAP for their compensation, performance, EC, Reporting, Recruiting, and onboarding modules. I have been using SAP for a little over 3 years and have around 3500 employees across 22 countries. One of the biggest uses for us is the way we can track employee data and build reports off this data. The use of recruiting and onboarding have also assisted us in standardizing the process world wide

Pros

  • The make the flow from applying, to being interviewed, into being hired very smooth and user friendly.
  • EC is very user friendly and fits well with out other integrations
  • Performance and compensation have saved us a ton of manual work around out annual reviews and merit increase process. This took alot of our excel files and moved them into one single system.

Cons

  • The biggest issue that I have found is with position management. We want the employee profile to be the driving hierarchy but the system is very limited with feed information from the employee profile to the position org chart. The parent positions get messed up very often.
  • The way SAP interreacts with compliance systems like e-verify also leads to serval error messages and requires alot of attention to resolve errors
  • We now have over 3000 employees doing their performance reviews and goal setting within SAP
  • HR have also been able to see trends with recruiting and terminations with the monthly reports we run from the system
It is fairly friendly to use but there are also several limitations amongst the modules
I think that AI will be nice to have and very helpful to our HR's. I dont know if we have enough features enabled to make it worth it. We also have a lot of Germany locations to I am concerned with if they will allow it due to the data regulations

The way it fits with our existing ADP Payroll is great. They also offer a lot of support for recruiting and onboarding
