Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors HCM

SAP SuccessFactors HCM is used as the HR tool for Core HR, Talent & Career, Recruiting & onboarding, Benefits and Time Management. We have employee self service to maintain the personal details and manager self service to manage employees.

Pros

  • Core HR is extremely well built module
  • Time Management module has grown strong
  • Recruiting and onboarding modules are revamped

Cons

  • Reporting is one area where the focus needs to be improved due to different frameworks
  • Talent Management tool is a decade old ; Need intelligent talent module
  • Some of the UI looks old ; Need to innovate more on the UI/UX
  • Automation of manual task like probation tracking
  • One system experience for employees for HR related topics
  • Cost saving with one HR Solution for all HR tools
SAP SuccessFactors HCM solutions is built on best practices and continuous market research & trends. The product is focussing on AI integration across the suite and bring in the extension options via BTP (Business Technology Platform). The focus on UI/UX has been tremendous over the last 2 years. Also, it is cost efficient when compared to it big competitors.
We already incorporated SAP business AI with Joule (Co-pilot of SAP), talent acquisition (like skills generation & insights generation), and talent management (AI Assisted writing). The intial feedback from our stakeholders are good and intent to continue to focus on SAP business AI where ever it can enhance productivity and efficiency for our people.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM is meant for all companies (Large to Small) which offers localization as an added advantage. It is a great product if your entire compnay in the SAP ERP ecosystem so the cross integration works seamlessly. Since it is a Saas product, there are areas where you cannot customize a lot (for example, UI elements).
