Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors HCM

SAP SuccessFactors HCM is utilised within our organisation for our People & Performance functions. It is our one stop shop for all things Human Resources. As a hiring manager, it streamlines our recruitment process, helping me manage raising an initial job requisition through to posting job applications and screening candidates before offering successful candidates a role.

Pros

  • Provides an interface to view the status of all recruitment candidates
  • Sends automated emails
  • Provides an up to date org chart

Cons

  • The org chart can be difficult to navigate, there are two separate views and its not obvious how these are linked
  • Document management has required us to implement a separate solution
  • Its not clear when automated email have been sent
  • Helped us to unify our employee experience between different areas of the organisation
  • Automated some HR tasks
Some parts are intuitive, browsing around the interface is fairly self explanatory. Having clearer process flow charts in built in the various processes would be helpful. There are two org charts views and it can be confusing which one to use for what.
AI could be used to assist screening candidate CVs, rating candidates against a provided skills matrix. AI could be used to suggest improvements or optimisations to workflows.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM is great at providing a streamlined recruitment process. It also provides clear visibility on our overall org chart making it clear to everyone in the organisation.
