Overall Satisfaction with SimilarWeb PRO

We use SimilarWeb PRO for industry analysis for our clients, comparing them to their competitors. We find the web and app intelligence to be incredibly helpful to understand trends, compare strategies, optimize keywords, identify new affiliate relationships, and see who is trending in terms of gaining share. Additionally, we look at keyword and search trends overall to see what is hot in the industry and where views or priorities may be shifting.
  • Ability to compare a suite of sites/apps easily
  • Dashboards to streamline analysis we revisit frequently
  • Intuitive UX allows for deep dives into data
  • Our account manager is fantastic. We may ask specific questions, but she gets to the heart of what we're trying to do and provides guidance on more ways to mine the data
  • This is an issue across providers, but having to look at iOS and Android app data separately is clunky. It would be great to be able to toggle between a group of apps instead of having to redefine which apps you're reviewing. Adding the iOS and Android data together would be even better, but I recognize some of the data is apples to oranges
  • This is long-term, but connecting the data more seamlessly across web and app would be phenomenal

Any tools such as SimilarWeb PRO and its competitors will not have data that matches a client's source data, so we look at everything directionally and tend to stay away from exact numbers. The directional insights are incredibly helpful to see where competitors are gaining ground, and looking at keywords, advertising strategies, organic successes, and top pages that lead to this success helps us identify gaps and opportunities for our clients.
