Overall Satisfaction with SingleStore

The app we've built at Particl runs large analytical queries, and requires the ability to ingest large amounts of data 24/7. Most other services we looked into were not able to handle our analytical queries, or could not ingest the data quick enough. SingleStore has resolved this issue, which is mission critical.

SingleStore ingests the data in a timely manner, which satisfies our requirements. The analytical queries we run also finish in an exceptional time, which has improved our app experience. By increasing our workspace size, we've also been able to increase the complexity and amount of data used in our queries, which has also improved our product.
SingleStore quickly ingests our data from s3 files, which allows us to process and insert the data in a timely manner. Before, we were using a NoSQL database to handle ingestion, which made analytical queries extremely difficult and complex. The only recommendation I would have for ingesting data is ensuring that you have enough CPU to handle the data.
We've tried both these above, to solve ingestion and analytical queries. Dynamo was a perfect ingestion service, but it didn't allow us to run intense analytical queries. Aurora helped us run these analytical queries, and ingestion was reasonable, BUT the queries were simply too slow. SingleStore has provided a solution to essentially allow us to take these two tools, and turn them into 1.

SingleStore is great for large amounts of data, and handling highly performant queries at scale, across many tables. We've built intense queries, that finish extremely quick, helping us provide realtime data.

If a company is not needing this type of performance, or do not need complex analytical queries, I'd recommend looking else where for a simpler and cheaper database service.
