Overall Satisfaction with Skillsoft Leadership Development Program

Skillsoft is used to give people access to curated video and ebook content to help accelerate their growth and give an opportunity to create tracks for their development. We search the content on a monthly basis and create links to content that is specifically focused on what we want them to work on. We also use the ebook library as a tool to bring people together through book clubs where they can discuss their challenges and give each other advice.

  • Increase in curiosity
There are things that could be easier. Having a more customizable carousel that can rotate relevant content in and out on a regular basis would be nice. They could also make some of the video content more engaging. Some of it is pretty dull and people can lose interest pretty fast.
I haven't explored Workday Learning enough yet to know how different it might be from Skillsoft.

Skillsoft is well suited in a corporate setting that perhaps doesn't have the budget to develop all the training they feel their people need. It allows for a one-stop site where people can specifically search for the content that addresses their particular areas of improvement. It is also good for creating custom learning tracks to focus on those specific areas.
