What is Workday Learning?

Workday Learning, integrated with Sana, is a training management system designed to consolidate internal documentation and technical training at scale. Organizations often utilize disparate learning systems and static content repositories that require manual effort to maintain and are frequently decoupled from operational workflows.

The Workday Learning platform uses an AI-based architecture to provide automated tutoring, semantic search, and dynamic course delivery aimed at increasing knowledge retention. It includes a collaborative authoring environment where internal teams can convert technical documentation and internal records into structured curricula within a multi-hour window.

Utilizing the Workday data model, the system automates enrollment, training assignments, and notifications based on employee record changes. It unifies learning, talent, and HR data into a single system of record for administrative reporting while maintaining compliance with enterprise security and data governance standards.
