Great for quizzes and Q&As, easy to use
Overall Satisfaction with Slido
We use Slido to interact with TV and Radio audiences: the host sometimes invites people to ask questions, give feedback, and participate in a quiz. Occasionally we would also conduct UX surveys as it is a platform that the audience already knows. We love that it supports local languages and is really easy to implement into a workflow.
Pros
- Quizzes with Leaderboards
- Q & As
- Branding and embedding
Cons
- In a poll with 2 simple questions, I would like to have an option to show all results (not just of the one, selected).
- Support for Powerpoint on Mac is still missing, I think....
- We are able to pitch TV quizzes to sponsors, which then supports our production
- Some radio shows sponsors started investing more if a contract includes a live Slido quiz for the radio audience. 100 listeners attending live is already a cool radio format...
- Mentimeter and Kahoot!
I think it is the only tool that supports Slovenian language. Slido is working so well, we didn't really consider using other tools, but I see them used in similar scenarios. We are also unlikely to change due to GDPR. We know Slido is still based in Slovakia (although sold to Cisco).

- Setup a quiz from scratch
- Add Q&A to an event
- Moderate and highlight questions
- Brand events and ad logos, specific colours
- Add collaborators when needed
- Sharing stats in other languages
- I still can't show two results of the same poll at the same time (unless we use the stats link)
Yes - Most of our users use mobile, whereas we would almost always set up events on a desktop. Last-minute changes can also be made on a mobile device; however, we try to avoid them to reduce the risk of errors (this is due to the small screen rather than the capabilities of the mobile interface).
