To Save Money and Headaches, Skip Smartlook and Go With HotJar Instead

Overall Satisfaction with Smartlook

Smartlook was evaluated to help us improve the flow of traffic and customer experience on our site. However, the features were not what we needed, and the cost to features benefit was not justifiable. We ended up going with a competitor that offered more features at a lesser price.
  • Smartlook was not cost-effective for us.
  • Feature/benefits were compared and the product was declined.
  • We decided to go with a more-features and less-costly option.
I felt support was lacking. When we did get support, we found the reason we were having trouble was because the features we wanted were not offered.
It's easy to use, but was not practical for us considering cost to features.
We ended up going with a competitor that offered more features at a lesser price and we chose Hotjar. Hotjar's pricing has since gone up, but we are grandfathered in.
