Overall Satisfaction with Snagit
SnagIt heavily used by Education teams for screen captures and image editing across the company.
- Screen capture (great use of screen capture modes, like full screen, region, text capture, scrolling window capture)
- Image editing (great tool to edit/manipulate images for several purposes - for example, replacing a real person's name with a ficticious name)
- Output options (saving captures with a variety of image file types (jpg, .png, .pdf, .gif, .tif, etc)
- Sending captures directly an application like Word, PowerPoint, or email
- Based on my use of SnagIt, I have not had a pressing need for other features (as of yet) because of the existing functionality
- For my company it has been low cost and user friendly to use SnagIt as a quick screen capture and editing tool versus perhaps Adobe Photoshop
