Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds IP Address Manager

We are using it to manage external IP addresses and are evaluating/implementing internal IP addresses.
  • IT does keep track of IP addresses.
  • It can tell us if they are in use.
  • We are able to see utilization of subnets at a glance.
  • Better detection of an IP address in use.
  • Requires manual intervention.
  • Automated updates of addresses in use would be great.
  • It has saved us time managing IP address spaces.
  • Less time than tracking IPs by spreadsheet.
Comparable to Infoblox, each with their pros and cons.
It has not provided many issues nor have I needed much support, but I have not heard complaints either.
