Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager
Used by the network team to back up the configuration of all net network devices.
- Daily configuration backups
- Change comparison
- Daily report
- Logging into devices
- It's hard to manage the number of configs kept and impossible per device or device groups.
- Slow user interface
- Has been great for comparison of previous and current configs when troubleshooting.
- Very useful if a device goes down and needs to be replaced.
- Overall definitely a positive impact.
SolarWinds seems to be easier to use and more reliable.
