Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager

SolarWinds Network Configure Manager is used, as the name implies, for network device configuration/change management. It is used by the Network Team to store, monitor and deploy network device configurations across the company. Because the critical arm of our business is in a remote area, we are able to reduce the MTTR of our network devices by being able to quickly restore standardized configs to replacement devices using NCM.

SolarWinds NCM is easier to setup.
SolarWinds NCM is suited for a mid to large enterprise environment where it will be daunting or impossible to manually manage configurations across the fleet efficiently. However, it may be very difficult to justify the cost of SolarWinds NCM in a very small environment.
