Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Serv-U

We are a printing company. We have people share and send us files to print for several years. We also scan files for companies, and use the file sharing option a lot to shift files around to other companies.

Pros

  • Great security features.
  • You can see all the activity from non allowed users trying to hack in.
  • Great visual interface.

Cons

  • Easier to update program.
  • Move away from Java to access files.
  • Selecting type of access you want without reloading Java.
  • I have been using it for over 10 years so the ROI was there for sure.
  • It is not a constant attention needing program.
  • Set up and it does its job.
Always have the right answer, and does not need to research and get back to you.
