Overall Satisfaction with Oracle SQL Developer

We like using SQL Developer as redundancy wastes space in terms of memory and leads to larger spreadsheets. When more memory gets used, it inevitably will cost the organization more money, take longer to open and close files, and larger spreadsheets lead to more time fixing errors when mistakes or adjustments occur. Other than these issues, a main concern is that the data will be inconsistent with spelling and other detailing errors.
  • Ease of use, as the way it is viewed is much easier than other programs
  • SQL prompting that adapts to what the user may want going forward
  • Good ER diagrams that are easy to build and update
  • Easy exporting and importing techniques
  • User prompts that have vague message boxes can occur
  • Larger buttons to view options and selection areas much easier
  • Better heading ribbon to create easier navigation throughout the file
  • Very solid ROI for the company, as it is a main building platform
  • The long run plan is to get customers to want to continue to use new add-ons
  • Called inexpressive, buy still is costly.
Access and Teradata Database have been okay alternatives, but Tereadata Database has some nice features as well. Zoho is an all in one tool and allows for more tasks to be completed, but no initial coding area
SQL Developer allows coders to take a business task and create an easy to read end product. Building views for consumer data, creating new tables with relevant information, and importing lots of data.

SQL Developer does not allow for the maximum scaling and dependent on add-ons.
