Overall Satisfaction with SQL Sentry Performance Advisor

We use SQL Sentry to monitor our SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) instances.

Pros

  • Interactive Dashboard
  • Ability to easily identify bottlenecks
  • Great Alarming service
  • Top SQL statements makes easy to identify problematic queries

Cons

  • Web related instead of Desktop
SQL Sentry was the best option that we found for SSAS monitoring.
Well suited for SSAS monitoring.
