Overall Satisfaction with Stormboard

I personally use Stormboard to coordinate workshops and classes that we offer at the institution. The software makes it easy because we can all collaborate at the same time. We also use it during the classes to make them more interactive and collaborative. I train professors about how to include Stormboard in their classes and students usually like it.
  • Makes classes interactive
  • Allows for collaboration
  • It is easy to use and get people onboard
  • The templates are a bit simple and could be more fun and attractive
  • Other softwares feel more modern
  • We get some lag if too many of us are on the board at the same time
  • Organize/coordinate course offering
  • Templates are very useful
  • we love the chat feature
  • We received positive feedback from students once we started using it
  • Some professor are very happy trying it out because it is easy to use
  • I dedicate less of the days to coordinating courses because we can collaborate on one board
I use Stormboard for coordination because it seems easier to use than the rest. In terms of courses, we choose the software depending on our course objectives and how tech-savvy we believe the prof and audience are. Miro is more complete, I believe, it has a ton of features and templates.

Yes

Would you buy Stormboard again?

No

I use different tech tools and platforms for my classes and those that I coordinate. I find Stormboard particularly useful for those courses where prof. are not tech-savvy or I know the audience won't be. This soft is great for scenarios when I need something easy to use and quick to learn. It makes classes interactive and more participatory.
