Overall Satisfaction with Stripe

I use Storenvy to sell some of my products—Stripe was the way to receive payments. When a customer places an order with me, the money is transferred to stripe, which holds it for a few days before transferring it directly to my bank account. Many customers shop through credit cards online (not just Paypal), and stripe allows customers this flexibility.
  • Easy integration
  • Low fees
  • A lot of integrations
  • Not user friendly.
  • Doesn't have a clear breakdown of fees with volume discounts.
  • Wait period to deposit into bank.
  • Receive credit card payments for my store.
  • Relatively Low and competitive fees.
  • A lot of currencies accepted with Stripe.
As mentioned, if you are selling on Shopify, I would go with Shopify Payments instead of Stripe. The main difference between the two are the fees. Stripe currently charges a 2.9% + $0.30 while Shopify Payments can drop to 2.4% + $.30 per order. Another difference is that Shopify payments are already integrated into Shopify, so there's no additional setup needed.

Do you think Stripe Payments delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Stripe Payments's feature set?

Yes

Did Stripe Payments live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Stripe Payments go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Stripe Payments again?

No

Stripe is one of the easiest solutions to integrate payment processing into your store. However, if you are using Shopify to sell your products, I would use Shopify payments instead. As you scale, Shopify payments become a lot less expensive. If they are selling on places outside of Shopify, I would definitely recommend Stripe as a solution.
