Overall Satisfaction with Symantec Endpoint Protection
We were using Symantec across our organization. It was installed on all of our machines worldwide.
- Using the cloud version makes it very easy to manage and configure antivirus across multiple countries.
- The ability to push out policy changes to all end users quickly and easily
- Control of firewall and application access all in one program.
- Did not detect all malwares and toolbars.
- Some user installed malware was not detected.
- It did leave us exposed to some threats, but they were all lower level and not business impacting.
Eset had a better detection of malwares. Symantec was far easier to use and setup.
