My organization is a partner of Tableau Software. We advise our customers how to use Tableau and why it is a good solution for them. We also help them to implement Tableau within their organization and give support after implementation. Finally, we help our customers to prepare their first dashboards and reports.
- Easy editing through a web browser.
- Flexible role management.
- Speed.
- Payment for a licence for every user, even someone who just wants to view reports without editing.
- Lack of a simpler version for a business user with fewer features.
From an analyst point of view, Tableau is the most intuitive tool and it's really easy to use. It's simply the most convenient product and gives the biggest possibilities. Of course, it's more expensive and not all features are necessary for some users. I have chosen Tableau for ad-hoc analysis because time was very important for me and I wanted to be as effective as possible.
