Overall Satisfaction with TalentLMS

We use Talent LMS as our training platform for new employees. We have multiple business training manuals uploaded into the platform that we then use for training our new employees and new instructors. We also use the quizzes at the end of each section/module to make sure the new employees have actually read and understood the content in our manuals.

Pros

  • Centralized location for all training manuals.
  • Section & module organization.
  • Quizzes.
  • Integrates with our HR software.
  • Great Value

Cons

  • General Interface could be modernized/look better.
  • Adding training content can be slightly clunky.
  • The quizzes really help ensure that new employees have read and understand the material - when just sending over a manual in pdf/doc format, you don't know if they actually read it.
  • Progress management is great to know where an employee is in the training process.
  • It saves other employees time to not have to physically teach new employees.
Both are good, but the pricing and general value proposition of Talent LMS are better than Trainual in my opinion. Trainual is a bit more modern and cleaner looking from a user interface perspective, but it comes at a higher cost. Both platforms provide very similar features in the way of general functionality and user experience, but Talent LMS wins because of its better pricing model.

This software is perfect for any company that has document/pdf-based training files that they want to convert into actual training modules for new employees. It is easy for new employees to use and navigate, and the quizzes that can be added at the end of each section/module are great for ensuring new employees' understanding of your content. It probably wouldn't be best suited if you need more interaction during your training process - but for those that just need employees to view and read text/images/videos and to be quizzed after, it is great.
