Overall Satisfaction with Teamcenter

We started using Teamcenter for 3D modeling and construction of various demonstrations and models. It is widely used to categorize the models and CAD in 3D and also getting used for analytical purposes. It offers a varied list of features and capabilities that can be used for various purposes like designing and creating a prototype.

The documentation is great and detailed and there is support available for this application online. Therefore it becomes very easy for users to navigate and not spend much time trying to learn.
Yes, it has improved collaboration. It allows global collaboration from different continents and countries thus making it easier to work together as a team. It is being used by different sections of the company for various different purposes and it allows to maintain a single data point to look at for better work collaboration.
Sometimes, the interface for Jira can be very overwhelming and it becomes very difficult and confusing to understand. Sometimes there are character limits to what we can type for a Jira that can become very restrictive and run as a blockage for certain developers. Thus we switched to Teamcenter.

With the help of Teamcenter, it was convenient for us to design the prototype for 3D visualization and also for CAD analysis. It was very beginner-friendly, as when we first switched to Teamcenter, it was easy for us to determine the various tools and then move ahead with the designing and analysis.
