Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Okta makes it incredibly easy to manage all of our log ins to the suite of applications we use. It streamlines new account provisioning for our IT and Business Systems team, while giving the end user a single place to go to access each system. An added bonus is you can save log ins to other applications not provisioned through Okta in your account.

Independent Platform

We've benefitted immensely from the majority of our SaaS applications being connected to Okta. It's enabled us to streamline user application provisioning and de-provisioning from an IT perspective. From an end user perspective it completely eliminates the mystery of where to go to sign in to our applications and how to do the same thing.

Customer First Team

I haven't had any experience directly with those teams and services, but I know our IT team has had great success when needing to troubleshoot an issue or learn about a new feature that can help make our business more efficient. Specifically, Okta has great documentation that enables our team to self-serve where possible.

Reliability

We have never run into an issue where Okta has prevented us from accessing business critical applications. As we are a fast paced business with a sales team spread out across the US and Canada, this is of the most importance to us, and Okta has continued to deliver the kind of performance required.

Okta is the perfect solution once the company has grown to have a tech stack comprising more than 10 applications across at least 20 employees. It makes onboarding and off-boarding nearly seamless and makes it easy for the employee to know where/how to log in to required systems.

For smaller companies without a sophisticated IT team I could Okta being a bit too much to manage to start.
