Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My organization uses Okta as a single sign-on tool for various websites we use internally. It makes signing in super easy and secure.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Simple, strong security
Single-sign-on is super convenient
Easily view and access various work apps

Cons

Previously, the setup I had sent a push notification to verify which was a bit inconvenient, but now there's a quicker auto-sign-in option (still very secure) that speeds up the process
Some basic UI improvements could be nice, just to jazz up the interface a bit
User management and provisioning is a bit clunky.

Independent Platform

Peace of mind with levels of security, easily view and access my most frequently used apps and platforms.

Reliability

Any issues I've had with Okta are very few and far between- the service is reliable and functional.

While I can't speak to the pricing, Okta is pretty user-friendly overall and convenient in managing the provisioning of users and viewing and accessing your commonly used work apps. I also trust that the level of security is strong, minimizing risk.
