Overall Satisfaction with Toggl

We use Toggl to track time against projects. This helps our service department so we know where people are spending their time, if additional resources are needed and probably most important - how many hours to bill a client. We can track this down to the minute. Toggle has given us the ability to track tasks and time against those tasks.

Pros

  • Very easy to learn - the interface is simple!
  • Works on multiple platforms - Chrome extensions, mobile and browser.

Cons

  • There's no ability to invoice so if you need that you'll have to integrate another program.
  • Having employees use a uniform text for tasks and projects for easier reporting can be difficult.
  • Toggl is free for our use so the ROI is AWESOME!
  • Toggl's ability to have us invoice our time spent on clients has been huge.
We've only opened one ticket for Toggl and customer support answered within minutes. This is awesome for a SaaS solution like this where companies usually put them on "cruise control." The knowledge base for Toggl is also awesome and very easy to search. Highly valued customer support is there.

If you need to track how much time is being spent on tasks and report on those tasks this is the solution for you. You can easily track projects and timing. If you need to invoice out from the same tracking solution that's the only scenario where this wouldn't fit.
