Amazing flight search experience; agents super helpful resolving issues during travel
Overall Satisfaction with TripActions
Most of our company with its distributed team travels at least 5 times a year for work to get together. I love how seamless [it is] and how few steps booking travel takes every time.
Pros
- TripActions has a great interface for filtering flights and finding the best one, including take-off / landing times. It’s comparable to Google Flights but includes priced search results for Southwest, which Google lacks.
- My co-workers have praised the TripActions support agents for how speedily they are able to resolve flight issues (e.g. missed flight, layover issues, last minute flight changes). One friend missed a layover but got a new flight using TripActions while still standing in line at the airport [while talking] to an agent there.
- TripActions gives me the option of billing to the company card or billing to my own card and automatically expensing it with Expensify.
- I also love the Amazon gift card rewards for finding inexpensive flights and saving the company money.
Cons
- On the web interface, I would love to be able to specify departure flight arrival time range and return flight take-off time range like I can on mobile and on the flight results page on web.
- When we book flights, we get Amazon gift cards through TripActions depending on how far below average the flight cost is. There's a modest booking fee the company pays with each flight, but overall the gift card incentive helps the company save money.
- Booking flights takes less time, which gives me more time to do my real job.
