Power Review.
Overall Satisfaction with Tungsten Power PDF
Tungsten is used as our PDF option. We find that the functionality of combining PDF files into one document to be extremely useful and easy to use. That includes numbering the pages, adding and deleting pages, arranging pages, bookmarking (extremely easy), and arranging content. Adding headers and footers is a breeze. If there were one thing to change, allow the footer to overlay for page numbering. That would make the document easier to read and cleaner. The product also has excellent compression ability to reduce the size of a combined file for email. The tool addressed our need for compiling and formatting large reports.

- Page numbering
- File compression/size reduction.
Cons
- Overlay function for page numbers.
- Cleaner highlighting function.
- Removing/replacing footers. Can impact pre-existing footers in combined files.
- Time saving. For a report that would typically take an hour, it can be completed in 30 minutes.
- Makes our client reports and meeting materials look great.
- There is no negative impact.
The experience is as represented. It is easy to use, self-explanatory, and intuitive. The benefit is that we can complete our work more efficiently and reduce errors. The learning experience is concise and clear, making it easy to understand the functionality. When that happens, there is less stress on people and clients. From the team, minimal frustration; from the clients, on-time reporting and documents.
There is nothing to compare it to. Tungsten Power PDF is by far an easier and more efficient option. The one advantage of CutePDF is the functionality of overlay and underlay with headers and footers. The other functions in Tungsten Power PDF are much easier to use. Pricing is also an attractive option.
