Overall Satisfaction with Udemy Business

We use Udemy Business for almost all our learning programs: Software Engineer trainings, Leadership Academies, Train the trainers courses, personal development, and we create our own courses for onboarding

Pros

  • It is a well structure platform that can work as an LMS
  • User intuitive for admins
  • The reporting dashboard is clear and self-managed

Cons

  • The teaching interface is poorly designed for handling assignments and quiz results
  • They could add more options to their quiz types as pairing or other evaluation methodologies
  • We trained more than 300 managers participating in our Leadership Academy through curated Udemy content that we articulated with live sessions
  • When a project ends, we send our developers to a training academy so they can catch up on the latest industry trends and get ready for their next challenge, this has help us to reduce attrition
It is a great platform with room to improve, especially in the teaching side

Udemy Business is a great tool for specific training needs, especially related to software and technology (AI, development, frameworks, etc). They have an extensive offer and different levels of depth. On regards soft skills, there is less content, and sometimes it is very repetitive.
