Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Unique Learning System (ULS) as our primary curriculum in our transition-age ASD special education classroom. It provides differentiated, standards-based instruction in academics, functional skills, and transition areas.
Unique Learning System addresses the need for accessible content across varied ability levels while supporting IEP goals and progress monitoring. The built-in assessments and leveled materials allow all students to participate meaningfully. We use it daily for whole-group, small-group, and individualized instruction focused on academic, life, and vocational readiness skills.

Unique Learning System is well suited for whole group differntiated instruction, bringing structured routine-based learning to the classroom, uses standards-based instruction with significant supports and can target small group learning. Where it is less appropriate is for highly individualised vocation training, students with very significant communication needs and variation between mature and less mature content.
