Overall Satisfaction with Lightspeed Restaurant

We’ve been using Upserve POS and merchant services for three years at our mid-size full-service restaurant. It's the most user-friendly POS I‘ve ever worked with. It makes training new employees very easy and is a low investment for equipment since it works on tablets and the system is compatible with most of the printers on the market.
  • Simple user interface
  • Low equipment cost
  • Ability to customize settings for your business
  • Bluetooth EMV reader disconnects sometimes
  • Simple interface minimizes mistakes.
We chose Upserve POS for the following reasons:
  • Easy to find items on the menu by using the search bar.
  • Ability to modify menu, devices, etc. remotely.
  • Useful app to check labor and sales in real-time.
  • Very easy to train new employees.
  • Low equipment cost.
  • Fast menu uploads using Excel sheet import.

You can easily pick up the iPad and take orders tableside and it’s especially helpful to split checks for the large parties right at the table. It saves a lot of time but dedicated and strong wifi is a must for Upserve POS. The downside is you can’t take EMV payments tableside with the iPad

Lightspeed Restaurant Support

Support is always on point. Short wait times on the phone, but the best way to reach them is via email for non-urgent matters. Email response is fast as well.
