Overall Satisfaction with Upserve POS (formerly Breadcrumb)
We use Upserve as our main POS on four different terminals within our restaurant. It is currently the only POS being used by all of our stores (around 15 storefronts across the South East). It has completely changed the way that we function, in a way that has made us more efficient.
- Allow credit card transactions while offline.
- Allows you to search for items instead of scrolling.
- Allows a full visual of tables/bar seats.
- Wireless printers for curbside use.
- Manual option to open register when offline.
- More detailed description of offline problems.
- Positive: 24/7 customer service
- Positive: allows staff to fix their own time cards.
- Positive: training option to learn the POS.
Lavu is the worst POS system I have ever encountered. It was the most frustrating part of everyone’s shift. They were never available for customer service, Upserve is. Their system would shut down across regions, Upserve does not. Upserve (at the time Breadcrumb) was highly rated and praised for simplicity.
