Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows

Our organization uses Veeam Agent for Windows to back up and recover physical and virtual machines for our customers. We use it for file-level, volume-level, and full-system backups of our customer's workload. It helps meet various goals of our customers, such as data protection, data retention & protection for compliance, and minimizing downtime.

Veeam Agent for Windows is great to use as it offers two managed modes - standalone and managed. Standalone helps when customers have a smaller environment and need direct control over backups. The managed mode provided administrators control over large environments using a centralized Veeam B&R console to monitor and update agents.
Veeam Agent for Windows primarily provides backup and recovery of Windows-based physical and virtual machines. At the same time, Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud also includes Cyber Security, Disaster Recovery, and Backup and Recovery. Since our customers require backup and recovery within the Windows Environment, we selected Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows.

Veeam Agent for Windows is best suited when backups need to be done using an Agent-based solution. This suits Windows File system or Entire volume Backups. This might not be best suited when the user needs to back up Cloud-based solutions such as Microsoft 365, Google Drive, etc., for which other solutions would be better.
