Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365
We use Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 for backing up all of our 3 tenants. I think it's important to keep a backup, even though it's "in the cloud" people can still delete emails, etc. by mistake.
- I just need to point it at Exchange Online, and it will backup everything related to Exchange Online.
- "It just works."
- Easier integration with Office 365. Takes some time to set up permissions, but that's probably on Microsoft, not Veeam.
- Negatives: it's not really free or cheap, but it's good.
- Positives: I sleep better at night.
I was using Veeam Backup and Replication already. Seemed like a no brainer.
We mostly have used it for when people delete emails by mistake.
We use it both to export to .pst and to restore Office 365. It saves a lot of time having multiple options.
It's backup. Not much to it.
