Discover why Veeam is the best Backup/Recovery Tool for Virtualized Infrastructures

Veeam Backup & Replication has been my go-to product for backing up VMware virtual machines. With a large VM portfolio, backups can be tricky and Veeam Backup & Replication has a very easy to use interface and advanced tools which make even more complex tasks like scheduling and backing up in a pre-defined sequence very easy. As a restore tool it allows for granular control down to a single email message for example if restoring from MS Exchange for example. It provides my organization with the piece of mind knowing all the virtual servers are protected. Allows allows for experimentation as backups can be used as snapshots before major software changes and allow for quick roll-back if necessary.

We have not deployed any Cloud backup targets but we were exploring those options.

The best way to test a backup product is to perform scheduled restores to ensure data integrity and overall systems operation. The ease with which Veeam allows this was a godsend as it kept us compliant and sleeping better at night.
