Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Veeam Backup & Replication as primary
backup tool for all critical physical and virtual servers. It is used by our IT
department. It helps us protect us from corrupt datacenter servers. Although we are safe from any disaster, we keep restoring backups in test environments. We are very satisfied with Veeam Backup & Replication.

We are using Veeam Backup & Replication community edition for backup and recovery of non-critical servers and virtual machines. Community edition is the best option for companies with low budgets and smaller workloads. The community edition features are enough for very fast bare metal recovery of non-critical servers.

Best for virtual environments; good for a physical server. We are using Veeam Backup & Replication in an environment for both physical and virtual servers. We did face some issues in Active directory restoration, but Veeam
support rocks. They helped us resolve the issue with extensive support. Veeam Backup is suited for both physical and virtual environments.
