Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Veeam for local backups of file folder and images in situations where customers cannot afford my primary solution. Veeam provides lots of functionality at a good price.

It has allowed us to backup customers who otherwise could not afford backup.
Easy to configure.

Number of Workloads Protected

We backup a total of 25 virtual and physical workloads. It is about what we anticipated.

Veeam Backup and Replication Backup to Cloud Platforms

We have benefitted by backing up data at a lower cost than our other backup providers.

Veeam Backup and Replication Copy Data Management

We have not begun to benefit from these features.

Alternatives Considered

Acronis Cyber Backup

We prefer Acronis due to its wide range of features.

Likelihood to Recommend

Veeam is well suited for customers with large datasets. I do not have much experience using it in a cloud setting but it is great for local backups of OS images, file folder, or VM replication.
