Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
We use Veeam Backup & Replication and all virtualization environments to get a good level of data protection.
- Virtualized workloads
- Endpoints and physical servers running Windows & Linux
- NAS filers
- Enterprise UNIX servers running Solaris & IBM AIX
- Enterprise applications such as Oracle or SAP HANA
- Cloud-hosted VMs within AWS or Azure
- In addition to back up, we also replicate some of these workloads
- In addition to back up, we also snapshot some of these workloads
- Automating test restores to validate recoverability
- Failover or recovery scripts/plans for orchestrated recovery
- Veeam Backup & Replication is not so good to copy files between servers. It could be better sometimes.
- The file copy feature could be a little bit better.

- The ROI of Veeam Backup & Replication is so good because it backs up up my virtual machines really fast.
Veeam Backup & Replication is better than other solutions because I don't have too much work to do to get my data protection. I don't spend too much time configuring my backup jobs.
Nowadays I don't use my backups on public clouds. I'm using Veeam Cloud Connect on a service provider.
With NAS file-share backup I can have a job executing every hour on my file server. So, I get a high level of protection with this solution.
