Veeam just works and it is not a hard sell. We currently back up and replicate about 10 VM's but have customers that run over 300 VM's. Veeam has brought a sense of ease in this space as many backup administrators [have] more time to implement other aspects of Veeam Offering.
- Less Administration free's up resources
- Reduced Downtime
- Reliable and Efficient
We [were] constantly struggling with the other vendor to get our backups to work at all times. With Veem we found that once it is set up properly you will never again come across an issue where your backup has just decided to stop working. Veeam has changed the industry and I am by far one of the better products out there.
So our organization doesn't really harness this capability but having said that I am currently working on a proposal where a client is looking at backing up their O365 environment. This customer has an environment that has over 5000 mailboxes and Veeam for O365 seems to be the perfect solution for them.
Our organization isn't that big as most of our staff sits at customer sites. We don't have this problem and therefore I am not the person to get an opinion from.
