Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
I am used to backup 10 Virtual Machines on Hyper V to an external HDD. Backup runs each afternoon. Very easy to set up and configure. The only downside is the RAM requirements using MS SQL Server. For just 10 VMs, I'd have thought a more straightforward file-based database would have been sufficient. Before upgrading the server recently, I had a scheduled task to start and stop the services as needed.

We were using Altaro as a paid customer. They messed up the renewal, so I looked at alternatives. At that time, Veeam had just increased the number of VMs supported in the community edition.
