Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Backup & Replication
Daily & Weekly VM backup to local and also replication to our DR site. We are also using Veeam to backup to tape certain jobs. The flexibility of Veeam to accomplish all of these tasks makes it a great product for us. We have appreciated being able to use one product for so many different functions. We've recently added server configs to a physical box, then Veeam backs those up to tape.

We back up all of our VMs (over 500) locally, and a majority of them are replicated to our DR site. We currently have 99 jobs that we are using. That also includes our monthly tape jobs (that go to the vault) and many other tape jobs we keep as other backups to help with ransomware protection.
- Great performance at DR test due to Veeam replication performance & quality.
- Less "babysitting" backups as the program works great and often.
- Helped us accomplish newer tasks of backing up local files & configs to tape.
We jumped on board with Veeam very early on in our virtual infrastructure. We have been a client ever since and never had a reason to change. It works great, does what was advertised, and continues to improve. Adding tape backup & O365 features just confirms the commitment Veeam has to this product and application.
We have not used the cloud as of yet, but it is on our radar. We are very aware of Veeam's capabilities to harness this technology.
We are using file-share backups on local servers. We put certain server configs on those, then run backups to tapes. We also run incremental of certain VMs to protect us from ransomware.
