Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365

Very important to us is being able to perform quick and efficient restores. This product of Veeam has allowed us to achieve the desired results that we want from an off-the-shelf product. This has allowed us to address business issues of rapid restores that were required by our C-level staff.

Pros

  • fast restores
  • great interface
  • easy to verify

Cons

  • The GUI could be simplified
  • Some of the automated alerts could be more informative.
  • Cost analysis could be clearer
  • We were able to lower our current spend on O365 by using Veeam.
We had an issue with our VP of internal affairs and it became apparent that w needed to go back very far to retrieve some old data, much further than what was defaulted by and in general from O365. This made us painfully aware that our current system from MS wasn't going to cut It for our needs.

The initial configuration for Veeam was fantastic. So many times using other products the installation, configuration is so very tedious and confusing. Veeam has gone out of its was to really make a great product and the installation was like a refreshing summer breeze. No stress with the alerting functionality as well as other technical aspects.
