Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365

We use Veeam Data Cloud backup for M365 to backup all our Sharepoint files and Microsoft Exchange. We did not have any backup previously to Veeam and were vulnerable to Data loss/ransomware. We use this Cloud backup for all our Microsoft 365 products.

Pros

  • Backup Sharepoint files, and can be easily restored in case of loss or deleted files
  • Automatic backup scheduling
  • No need form onsite backup storage solution

Cons

  • speeding up the restore facility
  • provide length of time to take a process to complete
  • hassle free backup, once initial setup, then it auto backs up
  • Retention period can be customised to specific needs
We could not rely on Microsoft to adquetly backup our sharepoint, Therefore we had to find an alternative method of backup which was in our control.
very easy to navigate and add backups
We had simulated a complete restore of our M365 in case of failure or ransomeware attack. We manage to restore data on a different location successfully.
We simulated both on-premise and Office 365 restore and worked competely fine without any issues. This gave us confidence and reliability in worst case scenario.
