Our organization provides advanced, full-service enterprise-grade data backup and disaster recovery solutions to companies of all sizes across all network configurations. We use the Veeam Data Platform for backup and recovery and to prevent and recover from malware and ransomware attacks on Customers' data that they back up with us.

We moved from another Data Backup & Recovery solution to the Veeam Data Platform. Since then more customers have purchased our service so more workloads are now being protected than we anticipated. This is because the Veeam Data Platform provides a robust, scalable solution for modern data protection across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Earlier we used a Cloud Backup solution which could not keep up with changing times and became obsolete. The Veeam Data Platform provided a robust, scalable solution for modern data protection across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. It integrated backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and security to ensure the availability and integrity of enterprise data. Veeam Data platform is not only used by customers to protect cloud workloads and store backups in the cloud and cloud Disaster Recovery, but we also use it to do the same for protecting our workloads in the Cloud. We back our production and development servers running on Virtual Machines and perform disaster recovery drills.
Veeam's ability to handle large volumes of unstructured data has been vital in meeting our compliance and regulatory requirements. With flexible retention policies and secure backup storage, we can demonstrate adherence to industry standards for data protection, ensuring peace of mind for our team and stakeholders. Overall, Veeam’s NAS/File-share backup solution has streamlined our data protection strategy, significantly improving our ability to safeguard and recover unstructured data whenever necessary.
Veeam Data Platform seems to be in a better position than the Acronis Cyber Platform, as it offers a more comprehensive backup and recovery solution, along with an intuitive User Interface. Veeam provides advanced cybersecurity features such as ransomware protection, immutable backups, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for secure access to backup environments. These features ensure that backup data is not only protected from accidental loss but also shielded from malicious attacks. Veeam's technical documentation is more thorough, and it offers a larger set of REST APIs, which further enhance automation and integration with existing security systems.
